Lake View Steak House in Greer

The menu and service were above our expectations. I absolutely enjoyed the ambience of this place. Fantastic restaurant to take the family out for dinner.

The beef tips are really good it was really not crowded. we went in and it was a Saturday night around 7:30 was surprised that the decline in customer used to go there a lot in my younger years . have an open bar it was a good experience good food.The staff was nice and sitting on the river view was pretty. If I were the owner I would capitalize in that room.

Excellent food and fantastic service our waitresse Madison never let me run out of tea , and kept a close check on our table to make sure we had what we needed. Excellent experience. Absolutely the best waitresse I have had in years any where THANK YOU Madison !

Went last night right at closing time for the first time. Ordered the large bourbon ribeye, loaded baked potato and salad. Came out perfectly prepared and fixed to perfection! We will be back! Pleasantly surprised to hear they have live music at the bar downstairs on the weekends.

Love there food and service nice people

My family had written this place off a few years ago for various reasons. We recently decided to give it another go. To our pleasant surprise we found the food and facility much improved. The staff was courteous and attentive. We especially loved the seated salad bar. The shrimp and grits and beef tips entrees were excellent. Hoping to see this continue in the right direction.

We had lunch there and the food was very good. We had steak and chicken which were good, but the sides were even better. Good home cooking! The waitress was also friendly and they were reasonably priced.

The cashier and waitresses or so nice! The veggies that came with the meal were great! The steak was very thin and overcooked. The french fries were not fries at all they were hard kettle chips or something. The inside had great atmosphere though!

2 hours before received meal, food was good but the waiting was way too long

A tradition for locals, Lake View Steak House is always dependable. Great tasting steaks and seafood. A salad bar like none other. Friendly service and moderately priced. Sit by the window for the best views. The Music Place 🎹🎸🥁

Great place to eat with healthy options at a great price. One of our best places to eat in the Greer area. If you haven't been you need to try it.

Got salad and steak. Got the salad and the brought the steak at same time so the steak was cold by the time I got to eat it. Waitress did not know what she was doing. Bad service and cold food nor good.

This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I feel like having a good lunch, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. Great and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.helpful crew, and great atmosphere. Not less important, the tariff is fair. I recommend this spot with pleasure.

I adore this venue a lot. It has a nice feeling. The cuisine is tasty. the service is efficient and the personel is friendly. The price is reasonable. truly recommend.

GREAT steak, seafood, and salad. Love the seafood chowder and blackened ribeye! The sides are just ok, which is more of a problem for my wife because she doesn't eat seafood. I'm perfectly happy with the loaded baked potato. Dated interior but cozy ambiance, and never a long wait because there are so many tables. Great place for larger groups. Pricing in line with most other steakhouses. Love the local down home feel, and the staff treat you like family. Must-visit if you live anywhere near Greer.

My steak was done to perfection and my husband loved the shrimp. Boy, do they make great baked potatoes! The only complaint was that the broccoli was over done. The service was great--hardly a wait from ordering to eating. The river and ducks were quite entertaining! We will be going back.

New owners. Local dive with lots of senior adult regulars. Beautiful location overlooking a river. Out in middle of nowhere.

Great place! Found this place by accident, decided to try it out. Great food and the service was exceptional! Beautiful location, our table had a great view of the water. I will definitely go back and take friends.

Food was delicious! I had an 8oz ribeye, baked potato, and side salad. My family had steak sandwich, french fries, clam chowder, and hamburger sliders. We also shared a bowl of strawberry shortcake for dessert, with delicious homemade whipped cream! Everything was great and all appears to be good quality, fresh, homemade food. The decor is rustic and antique-ish. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. My 10 year old son loved watching the ducks by the river out the window and spinning in the chairs. 😆 We'll be back for sure 👍

One of my favorite places in Greer! We’ve always been greeted with smiling friendly faces and amazing food. You really can tell the staff all enjoy their job. Lakeview steakhouse has such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and a wide array of food options. If you’re in the area I would highly recommend!

I here about 15 months ago and it was "dine in" & I was with my family. I had a steak that was over done, the service was poor & parts of the order was wrong Since then my sister told me that there was New owners & as a family we ate there & it was Delicious! I got a cheese burger (Wich are homemade patties) the fries were included (awesome) & everyone elses meal was Excellent! We did dine out & they are resonable as far as timewise & Price, Definitely a 5 Star...& The Servers are Very courtious & Friendly, customer service oriented.... The service was just as good as the food! Great Job! As a family again because of our busy schedule we ate there 2 days later!😊😀

Waited 30 mins to be seated. Then after an hour of waiting for our order and watching 4 families who arrived after us eat and leave. We left with no meal and no explanation as to why. First time i have ever been. Last time as well. I would never recommend this place to anyone. ZERO STARS only leaving 1 because i have to.

I really enjoy their food. Very good service. Very polite and helpful servers. I really enjoy the view of the lake and enjoy seeing the ducks too.

unless you are a family member of one of the employees don't bother going there. you will be sitting at an empty table (no drink or food ) while you observe the family members getting the service that everyone should be getting. won't be going there any longer. you don't know how my visit went. after sitting there 10 minutes with no one coming to my table three people walked in and were seated (a waiteress's family) . I watched as the waitress jumped all over their wishes. I sat after ordering a tea and not receiveng it and watched as the family got their drinks then got some bread and later got thier food. I was still sitting at an empty table. if you want to justify that kind of service on the fact that I brought in my own drink go ahead but I will not be coming back . Now don't tell someone to have a blessed day unless you mean it and I don't think you do. It used to be a great place to eat.

Been a couple of years since we have been.It has been fully remodeled and looks great.Food was delicious and service was great,We will definitely be back. Well worth the drive from Spartanburg

We have eaten there for years, along with family and friends with great results. Now, nine of us want to return. For the past month or two, the food got worse and worse. Prices are expensive. I don't mind paying for good food and service, but bith are gone now. My food today was not efible. That's it.

I had tips! My husband had surf and turf! Food was really melt in your mouth kimd pd food waitress was super sweet! Will go back again!

Limited beer selection. Waitress took order, assured us that had the chowder we ordered only to inform us several moments later that they didn't. Second time in 2 weeks this has happened. Won't go back....

I called in a take-out order. The lady on the phone was very nice. I picked the order up at the specified time. Everything was correct. The place was very busy, but there was no sense of panic. The staff are great and the food is amazing. Keep it up!
